Scientists say the hormones in the oral contraceptive suppress a woman’s interest in masculine men and make boyish men more attractive. Although the change occurs for just a few days each month, it may have been highly influential since use of the Pill began more than 40 years ago.

Always so tiresome when the DM manages to put a sexist spin (‘women don’t like masculine men! oh no!) on an otherwise somewhat interesting story: rather interesting research out of the University of Sheffield about how hormones affect the laws of attraction.
What I want to know, however, is what about those of us who are not on the Pill (it makes me much too grumpy) but still fancy men who are more on the tweed-wearing lanky intellectual end of the masculinity spectrum?
